Founded in early 2009
Bermy Online Garage Sale was a concept built by Grace Markham in 2009 long before Facebook Marketplace was even invented.
When Social Media became super popular in the mid 2000s Grace witnessed the early evolution of ecommerce. Creating two of the first Buy/Sell groups in the world at the time using Facebook as a platform to host her "Online Garage Sale" it became instantly popular. Bermy-Online Garage Sale on Facebook now has well over 13,000+ active members and is growing daily.
This Jumpstarted the process of buying and selling items online, connecting local vendors and small business owners, setting up pop-up events, and auctions, consigning items for people & even facilitating organization and clear-out services (and estate liquidation)
Our New Website!
As the market evolves - so do we! But we also believe, "If it's not broken, don't fix it!" Our website isn't here to build yet another classified ads platform. (we do those sales well over on Facebook) We aim to be much more - understanding the astronomical cost of doing business in Bermuda in a brick-and-mortar store we want to help connect small business owners to their consumers with collaborative events both online and offline. Bringing "Online Sales" to Bermudians.

Passion for Sustainability.
Reduce, reuse, recycle - if we can help give items a new life and positively impact our environment on a global level, we are beyond thrilled! But it's also about caring for our beautiful, clean island home. Bermuda produces an enormous amount of waste & it's our job to be more conscious of our impact collectively and how we can improve that. Buying second-hand, gently used products (Which are always in abundance) allows you to save money but also divert items from going to landfills or causing pollution.

We love networking! It's something we feel passionately about, and Bermuda is such a small place that there is rarely more than a degree of separation. We want to utilize this island closeness to help connect people, businesses, and charities so that we can reach goals that help us all on a community grassroots level.
